Comments: Love the stainless steel model. It has plenty of room for meat and veggies! Even though it is a little pricy, it will last for a lifetime which makes it well worth the price. Not to mention it's made in the USA!

Comments: You just can't make a bad batch of wings. 45 to 60 minutes depending on how full the basket is, and you end up with the best wings. Golden and crispy every time. I have used it for shrimp, pork cubes, and beef tips. just before the meat is done throw in some veggies and seasoning. Works great for brauts and hot dogs to.

Comments: Had a basket many years ago that rusted out and ended up in the garbage. I have looked for another for a long time and couldn't find anything in stainless until I located this one. Firstly, Dean is terrific to deal with and could not have been more help and the basket arrived very fast. Secondly, this basket is exactly what I was looking for. Have used it a few times and it not only does the job perfectly, but breaks down in 2-seconds for the dishwasher and comes out spotless and ready for action again. The basket mesh is close enough together that wing tips won't fall through or get stuck. I am so very pleased to have found this. This basket will last a lifetime... Thanks so much Dean, Geoff

Comments: Very happy with the prompt service I received. I could not find anything of this quality or versatility locally. Dean went above and beyond and shipped the product so I received it less than a week after ordering.

Comments: This is a nice basket for the money. I've been wanting one of these things for quite awhile but they usually run at least a hundred dollars. Usually more. At my house these days, one hundred dollars is generally considered the threshold price range that requires providing justification, a full explanation, and maybe even a PowerPoint presentation. Hardly worth the trouble.

Comments: This thing is quite sturdy and larger than it looks. I put six pounds of fresh wings into it without crowding it, set the heat to medium, closed the lid and they were ready in about forty five or fifty minutes. That was the first time I ever wanted to try fooling with wings and they turned out perfectly. I'm going to throw some corn on the cob and some big portobello mushrooms into it this evening.

Comments: When I first got it and set it on my counter, I admit that for a minute or two I stared back and forth from the instructions to the components in bafflement. However, pretty quickly I had my eureka moment and realized it's actually easier than I thought and my confusion was actually a matter of over-studying the situation.

Comments: Lastly, I like this thing because not only was it very reasonably priced and good quality..... but some regular fellow just like you or I, invented it and manufactured it. That seems pretty rare these days.

Comments: Deano Congrats on a very well made product. Easy to use, and it WORKS. I had purchased a competitors product. Put together with pop rivets that all extended into the basket. not deburred. lacking craftmanship. So far everything we have tried has turned out delicious. I would highly recommend this basket to everyone.

Comments: I have used my basket twice now and our wings have turned out perfect both times, cooked them on about 350 degrees turned them on went off to make some side dishes, returned to the grill about 50 minutes later, they were ready to eat moist and nicely browned. I was glad I watched some of the videos and seen pam being used before loading the basket, really makes for easy cleanup.

Comments: I take my basket apart and soak it in water overnight and anything on the basket washes right off with the garden hose. Little soap wash rag and done.

Comments: The basket is awesome and shipped super fast, which I am very happy about. However, immediately after placing my order, I emailed them to ask if they could not include the company's name on the shipping label, as this is a surprise gift for my husband for Father's Day. My husband works from home, so he typically gets the packages before I do. Sure enough - it arrived today and right on label it says where it's from. Surprised ruined. Very upsetting.

Comments: Thanks for such a great product! I have been using my basket for all sorts of things (roasting hatch chilies as I type) and has worked flawlessly. I spray it with cooking spray like you show on videos and has been a breeze to clean. Never had any issues with lid opening either. Our best meal has been a low country shrimp boil "rotisserie basket style". Didn't lose a shrimp one out grates either. Keep it up and thanks! Please keep me on mailing list if you come out with any other products or accessories.

Comments: A few notes to others considering purchase:
  • I was concerned gaps in grates would lose food (particularly shrimp), upon use, I have had no issues of loss with anything I have cooked. Use common sense though, no grain or pea size items are going to work.
  • I was concerned capacity size, I have found this baby holds a lot of food. Design allows filling both "halves" up. Plenty for 3-4 hungry eaters.
  • I read some complaints of door opening during use, upon using I don't even see how possible. The design is ingenious as it makes it super simple to clean and store, the "door" has enough tension on it that is actually takes a little effort to open.
  • Cleaning. I have found super easy to clean. I spray with cooking spray prior to filling with food as spinning on rotisserie, stop motor, and fill with food then cook. My stainless steel components still are brand new looking with no staining and very little fuss.
I have been trying to come up with more ways to use basket, like altering current recipes to try in new cooking styles. Everything has came out great and spinning rotisserie style gives food/recipes different taste. Also, don't forget instead of using the basket halves, you can use the punched holes on end plates to load up skewers (you provide) for spinning kabobs. I have not tried this feature myself yet, but plan to. I looked around for awhile while searching for a basket to work on my rotisserie, and read many reviews. This is by far the nicest and easy to clean one that I could locate. And in my opinion very reasonable priced for stainless steel.

Comments: This review is going to probably be a bit lengthy compared to others but I want to be very thorough. I want to start by saying the shipping was freakishly fast. Seriously. I ordered this on Saturday via Amazon and I actually had it at my front door that Monday. Was blown away by that. This was not done via prime shipping or even request for expedited shipping. I was surprisingly shocked and extremely impressed.

Now I want to be absolutely honest here. The directions for putting it together well those to be completely honest, they were terrible. They didn’t actually give steps on how to assemble it so we simply sat down, examined it closely and it snapped together in about 5 min once I examined the placement of the holes and such. I mean it’s pretty basic but if you’re going to supply instructions, please make them worth printing or even reading.

Going along with the assembly, I have to make a gigantic suggestion. The edges on these parts (Specifically the cage) are EXTREMELY sharp. Truly should consider having them rounded off during manufacturing.

Let’s get right to the meat of the matter. Works exactly as it was intended to work. Wings tumbled perfectly and I ended up with the greatest wings EVER. Couldn’t have fit better on my Weber rotisserie spit. The only thing that would have been nice would be locking rings so that the basket doesn’t go left or right. (That can occur with the tumbling vibrations) I used one of my rotisserie tines reversed to lock it in.

Clean up was not the easiest but not the hardest. I highly recommend having a large bucket of hot soapy water to drop the basket in to soak after use. This will allow easier clean up. Once it sits even the Dishwasher will struggle getting it completely clean.

Final thoughts: If your reading this and considering purchasing for the love of god wait no longer. This is the greatest thing that has happened to a chicken wing since they developed bones.

One more thing I definitely want to address. Your website has a video that has, I am assuming the creator of this wonderful device, tossing in an entire bag of frozen wings. Then actually saying come back in 45 min and you will have perfectly cooked wings. No…you won’t. What you will most likely have is a basket full of Salmonella. Anyone that follows that video and does that well to be honest, they could die. Please do yourself a favor and don’t allow you, or your product to be associated with such potential danger.

Comments: I purchased my F&G basket over two years ago and it works great. I've used it for exclusively for pork or beef tenderloins and the results are exceptional. At first it was somewhat tricky to reassemble after usage, but the results prove it's well worth the effort because all it takes is practice. It's easy to clean and I've found it's best to have a designated spit-rod just for this basket.
